One of my dad’s best decisions ever was availing of a health savings account. It’s a standard plan that costs lower premiums. And since it tax-free and can even reduce your tax burden each year. If ever you need money to cover expenses that your HDHP doesn’t cover, you can use you money on your health savings account. You can even use it as retirement money if you don’t use it all.
